Audi MedCup – Cartagena – E’ stato inaugurato questa mattina il villaggio che ospiterà i protagonisti del Caja Mediterràneo Trofeo Regione di Murcia, quarta tappa del circuito Audi MedCup. All’inaugurazione hanno presenziato il sindaco di Cartagena, José Vicente Albaladejo e altre importanti cariche cittadini.
L’evento, che a Cartagena si ripropone per il terzo anno consecutivo, avrà inizio la prossima settimana e, regate a parte, che potranno esssere seguite sul maxi schermo, propone una ricca lista di appuntamenti collaterali.
AUDI MEDCUP, THE VILLAGE IS OPEN
[Audi MedCup Press Release] This morning Cartagena Town Hall hosted the official presentation for the Caja Mediterráneo Region of Murcia Trophy. The presentation was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Carthagena, José Vicente Albaladejo; Antonio Peñalver, the Director General for Sports of the Region of Murcia; Enrique Carrión, Companies Territorial Director for Caja Mediterráneo; and Fernando Iñigo, Marketing and Communications Director for Grupo Santa Mónica Sports.
All of the morning’s speakers highlighted the success the event has enjoyed over the last two years in Cartegena, not just in sports terms but also and especially on the social and promotional side for both Cartagena and the Region of Murcia.
Nine days of non-stop entertainment
The Audi MedCup Public Village opens tomorrow in Cartagena, and will offer non-stop entertainment for the visitors until Sunday, August 29. The shore-side action continues all the way through the regatta with shows each day which include magic, carnivals and all different types of music, as well as the interactive winching and driving simulators, the kids’ soft play adventure and boating area.
On racing days there giant screens in the Public Village show all the racing action live from the course areas, with an informative dock-in show after racing.
