RORC 600 Caribbean, something about the prizegiving

Antigua – Sailors know how to party and this Friday’s RORC Prize-Giving Ceremony & Closing Party will be no exception. Hundreds of crew members, organizers and guests will celebrate another nail biting 600-mile offshore race around the Caribbean islands with the record 80-yacht fleet in style at the Antigua Yacht Club from 7:00 pm.

After an incredible high-speed duel with Maserati, Phaedo3 took Multihull Line Honours and the first Monohull Line Honours were taken by Rambler 88 followed by an epic win for Bella Mente. The fiercely competitive three to five-day race is set to continue as over 50 yachts are still racing. Full race reports, photos and video highlights can be viewed here.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by race organizers where winners will be presented with a fine array of prizes and the festivities continue with entertainment by Asher Otto & Itchyfeet live on stage from 9:00 pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome to join in the celebrations.
